BioSiS - PhotoDiagnostic Imaging & Biomedical Optics (PHOTODIAG)

Lead :

Henri-Pierre LASSALLE

Department :

BioSiS

Project Overview

The multidisciplinary project of the PhotoDiag project brings together fundamental and clinical research forces in three complementary areas of expertise, health, biology and signal/instrumentation. It develops its work in its recognized fields of expertise: preclinical and clinical photodiagnosis and phototherapy, photobiology and nanomedicine in oncology for theranostics and in vivo optical spectro-imaging. The project's issues are fully integrated into those of the department, which offers innovative and multidisciplinary methodological, experimental and numerical approaches to address health issues in diagnosis and therapy for precision medicine. At the local level, the project maintains a lasting partnership with the Lorraine Cancer Institute and the CHRU of Nancy.
