[MED 2020] The 28th Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation will be held virtually on 16, 17 &18 September 2020

After a postponement due to the health crisis, CRAN is organising the 28th Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation [MED 2020]. The event, which was initially scheduled to take place in St Raphael from 17 to 19 June 2020, will be held as a virtual conference on 16, 17 & 18 September. This cycle of international conferences was created in 1993. It is sponsored by the Mediterranean Control Association (http://www.med-control.org) chaired by Panos Antsaklis (Doctor Honoris Causa 2012 from the University of Lorraine). The conference is co-sponsored by the IEEE Control System Society and the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.

The General Chair is Didier Maquin and the International Program Committee is co-chaired by Didier Theilliol and Kimon Valavanis (University of Denver). The 2020 edition attracted 255 submissions. The final programme includes 181 papers divided into 32 sessions including 6 invited sessions. In order to ensure that the event is held, authors were asked to provide, in addition to the classic text of their paper, a video presentation of their contribution. 178 videos were thus collected and will be broadcasted during the conference. Three plenary lectures will complete the scientific programme of the conference. Due to the postponement of the date, the proceedings of the conference are already available on IEEE Xplore: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/conhome/9171828/proceeding
